Dry Socket is a politically charged hardcore band from Portland, Oregon. With high-intensity performances and emotional songwriting, they blend classic hardcore aggression with deeply personal narratives. Their sound channels the urgency of acts like Punch, Paint it Black and Negative Approach, while carving out a distinctly modern and inclusive space within the genre.
Since forming Dry Socket has toured across the US, Europe and Mexico, sharing stages with bands such as Gorilla Biscuits, The Hope Conspiracy and Torso. Known for their visceral live shows, they create a space to be unapologetically angry.
Violencia is a 4 piece band, created around 2018 in the dark corners of the other side of the border in TIJUANA, Mexico. The sound is fast, heavy, hardcore punk influenced by bands such as INFEST, LOS CRUDOS, NARCOSIS, TOTAL FURY, NEGATIVE APPROACH, PARALISIS PERMANENTE, EXTORTION and HHH; trying to create a fusion between punk, hardcore, post punk, doom metal and power violence. The lyrics driven by anger and hedonism go from political to existencial topics, denouncing inequality, micro-violence and hypocrisy on human relations. After some years of playing the band has published 1 EP (EL ODIO ME HIZO HACERLO), 2 SPLIT 7” (w/ Double me [italy] and w/Depraved ) and a 12” album title “VIVIENDO TIEMPOS AÚN MÁS OSCUROS”.
