Get Better Records would like to reveal its newest member: Philadephila's Old City! To celebrate the signing announcement, the punk/hip-hop group is sharing new single, "Anthem."

"Somebody better pour me something," commands Tr38cho, MC & frontman of Old City, in new track "Anthem."

In "Anthem," the scene is a wild house party: drunken punks scream "Bicycle Races" lyrics, the smoke alarm has been going off for 3 hours, skinheads put "TV Party" on repeat —intending to fight anyone who tries to change the song, and strung-out girls throw firecrackers from the roof at the cops trying to shut it all down.

Tr38cho charismatically leads you through the revelry, clanking drinks with friends while making sure the girl in the corner gets in her uBer safe and sound. Old City throws listeners into a whirlwind of punk-infused hip-hop with the help from UK's The Ramonas in this wild ride through the concrete jungle.

"Anthem" weaves together a tapestry of influences, incorporating samples from A Global Threat, Action, Against Me!, B52s, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys, Big D and The Kids Table, Black Flag, Cockney Rejects, Dandy Warhols, Gorilla Biscuits, Lower Class Brats, Operation Ivy, Paint it Black, Rancid, Rise Against, The Ejected, The Muffs, The Ramones, and The Varukers to amplify the party atmosphere.
