FOR RELEASE FEBRUARY 7 — Following the release of her debut album, The Parts I Dread, last spring,Pictoria Varkhas teamed up with composer and multi-instrumentalistRain Johannes for a new take on the LP's fourth track, "Bloodline II." The remix, aptly titled "Bloodline III" drops February 7 via queer, independent record labelGet Better Records.
"Rain is such an amazing songwriter and bass player that it blew my mind when I heard a remix he did for his friends in On Pink," explainsVark. "I loved being able to let my songs speak for themselves and give full creative control to the remixers I worked with. His interpretation of 'Bloodline II' is so fun and creative, making it feel almost like a completely different song. I wish my music could sound like Grimes all the time haha."
