Today, Philadelphia-based electronic artist Kilamanzego shares new single, "Irregular," from her forthcoming EP, Black Weirdo, dropping July 28 via queer, independent label Get Better Records.

Kilamanzego expresses an introverted personality following her previous hit on TIDAL’s Electronic Rising, "Remember Myself,” which introduced the scene to an unapologetically quirky producer. The steady pumping bass paired with chops of a melodic strumming synth communicates a feeling that Kilamanzego has been struggling with as an alternative Black weirdo and artist time and again: “Oh, why are hearts so cold? Find your luck or go it all alone,” she breathes through the track.

“Irregular” invites you into an eye-opening experience, one filled with influences of indie rock and electronic bass music all rolled into one, and tells the story of Kilamanzego baring her soul in a cutthroat existence.
