Following last month's release of single "Degree Decree," Hit Bargain (members of Beach Fossils and Cold Beat), the angular Los Angeles four-piece known for their sardonic explorations of gender, power dynamics, and aging action heroes, are returning from with another track from their forthcoming album, A DOG A DEER A SEAL, out November 10 via Get Better Records.

In the opening track of “Immaculate Vaxxer,” singer Nora Singh menacingly wavers, “A warning / Or a premonition to be ignored / Superstition buoying us to impossible shores” against Mike Barron’s ragged guitar stabs, while bass player Sean Monaghan and drummer Anton Hochheim create a roiling, brackish undercurrent that compellingly tugs the listener along. Artist and musician Chris Mulligan (Parlor Walls, Gold Dime) has illustrated a masterfully animated dark kaleidoscope visual call and response video to the lyrical body horror and saintly submission of the song’s themes on chronic disease as religious allegory.
